Apex is an Australian-founded service organisation formed by three young architects, Ewen Laird, John Buchan, and Langham Proud, in Geelong. They believed that an organisation of young men could boost the morale of a depression-torn society and provide material comfort for the needy. These ideals are still embodied in all modern Apexian, and the aims of Apex are symbolised by the association’s symbol — the equilateral triangle with the base representing citizenship and the two sides fellowship and service while the rising sun symbolises the rising generation of youth. Today the club welcomes men and women between 18 and 45.

Following the Apexian ideals of youth encouragement, Paul Clark’s design was chosen amongst a promising group of art students.

These stamps can be used within Australia for domestic and international postage to brighten up your cards, letters, and parcels.
