1992 Olympic Games Barcelona
The 92’ Barcelona Olympic stamp issue was designed by renowned designer Garry Emery. The Olympic motto, Citius, Altius, Fortius (‘Faster, Higher, Stronger’) is expressed through the photographic depiction of three different sports — cycling, high jumping and weightlifting.
Fun fact: Before Cathy Freeman won gold at the Sydney 2000 Olympic in the 400m sprint, she once worked at Australia Post.
